Use
- The cables are destined for the connection of the electrical household appliances to a fixed supply network
Materials
- The conductors must satisfy the prescriptions of SR EN 60228, Class 5, the section of the conductor and the number of isolated conductors can be: 0,5 mm2 or 0,75 mm2, - 2, 3 or 4 isolated conductors for HO3VV-F and 0,75 mm2, up to 4 mm2 2, 3, 4 or 5 isolated conductors for HO5VV-F, of 6 mm2 3, 4 or 5 isolated conductors for AO5VV-F
- The isolation must be constituted of a mixture of PVC type TI 1 in compliance with EN 50363-3 applied around the conductor of the color: green-yellow, light blue, brown, black and grey
- The isolated conductors must be wired together before applying the mantle
- The mantle must be constituted of a mixture of PVC type TM 2 in compliance with EN 50363-4-1- applied around the isolated conductors, it must fill the spaces between the isolated conductors of the color: white, black or according to the order.
- The isolation and the mantle must have a uniform surface, without thickenings, burns, etc.
- The marking of the cable is made by thermal printing/ink jet with the inscription ex: OMNI CABLE HO5VV-F 4G4 mm2 / OMNI CABLE HO5VV-F 3G1,0 mm2

- Rated voltage: (Uo/U) 300/300 V for HO3VV-F; (Uo/U) 300/500 V for HO5VV-F
- Trial voltage: 2000 V c.a.; 50 Hz; in water for 5 min.
- Minimum temperature of the surrounding: at mounting: +5°C, in exploitation: -20°C
- Maximum temperature accepted on the conductor in normal conditions of exploitation: +70°C
- Minimum bending rays of the cables at temperatures of +20°C ± 10°C in normal conditions is of: 3xD (cable’s diameter.) for fixed installation and of 5xD for the free movement of the cable for cable diameters up to D = 12 mm and 4xD for fixed installation and of 6xD for the free movement of the cable for cable diameters of over D = 12 mm.
- The cables are with delay at the flame spread in compliance with SR EN 60332-1-2
