CYY-F-NYY-J
Power cables with isolation made of massive extruded dielectrics for voltages of 0, 6/1 KV

IDENTIFICATION CODE: CYY-F / NYY-J
STANDARD: SR CEI 60502-1:2006

Use

  • For the transportation of electricity in fixed installations, for the transportation of electricity from the power stations
  • In closed environments, in dry or wet environments, in cable channels, in the ground, in concrete.

Materials

  • The conductors must satisfy the prescriptions of SR EN 60228, 1st Class
  • The isolation must be constituted of a mixture of PVC/A in compliance with SR CEI 60502-1
  • The isolated conductors must be hardwired between them
  • Over the wired conductors is applied a SDR isolation
  • The mantle must be constituted of a mixture of PVC ST1/ST2 type in compliance with SR CEI 60502-1
  • The isolation and the mantle must have a uniform surface, without thickenings, burns, etc.
  • The marking of the cable is made by means of thermal printing/ink jet with the inscription: OMNICABLE CYY-F 2X1, 5 mm2

Data sheet

  • Product standard: SR CEI 60502-1:2006
  • Normal voltages: Uo/U (Um) 0,6/1 (1,2) KV
  • Trial voltage: 3,5 kV c.a., 50 Hz, 5 minutes
  • Minimum temperature of the surrounding environment: +5°C; in exploitation: -33°C
  • Maximum temperature accepted on the conductor in normal conditions of exploitation: +70°C
  • Minimum bending rays of the cables at installation 15xD (cable’s diameter) for the single color cable and 12xD for the cables with multiple conductors
  • Maximum tensile force at installation: 50 N/mm2
  • The cables are with delays at the flame spread in compliance with SR EN 60332-1-2:2005
The cables that have F at the ending of the symbol are with increased delay at the flame spread in compliance with SR EN 60332-3-24:2010, test of resistance at the vertical spread of the flame on the C category clustered conductors or cables in a vertical position.
